The booting for halo 4 is way too strict, I am constantly getting booted out of games when ive accidentally betrayed someone once. For example: Im in a big team battle, at one point im riding around in a ghost, I see an enemy ahead and attempt to splatter him, but right when im about to hit him, BAM an ally has come out of nowhere and ive hit him. 3 seconds later ive been booted for betraying a teammate. The very next game: I get betrayed by an ally since I got a sniper rifle before him, no option to boot. I betray him to get it back, I get booted for betraying.
In Halo reach, you had to betray someone 3 times before getting the option to boot.
What the heck is going on!!!
Yeah, the betrayal system is pretty bad at seeing who did it on accident or on purpose. Betrayals happen too often in this game, along with those stupid people betraying for power weapons or objective items (oddball, flag).
Im thinking the more you betray the more likly you will get booted for every team kill. One thing you need to do is not team kill if someone’s team killed you for a weapon. Just let it be. Yeah it sucks but your just asking for a problem and it costs all the other players on the team. The Ghost issue id say is either you have flat out team killed for fun or you arnt aware of whats around you. Iv died very little from teamates in Ghosts. BUt you for sure need to go a few days without team killing so you dont get booted
I spam the radar (after always playing REACH infection). Also those 2 were examples, theres also the classic sticky grenade. But yeah I see your point, simply watch your aim. Though still, it is a bit strict

I wouldn’t be so quick on your vehicles comment. I betrayed my sister 2 times in a game with vehicles because she was being stupid. First was I was driving a warthog through a tight space and the sprinted out in front of me. I tried to stop but couldn’t and it betrayed her. Second one was when I got in a wraith. I was on one side of one of the buildings on longbow and she was on an adjacent side shooting somebody. She ran out in front of me (from the side of the building) as soon as I started moving and got herself killed again.
I was completely aware of my surroundings when these happened. They happened because the person who got killed was being stupid.
I really hope you can’t get booted for betrayal in something like King of the Hill with all the grenade spam going on in there.
if someone kills you for a power weapon, just run around bursting their shields so they die as soon as they meet an enemy. it’s even more annoying than someone killing you! teach the -Yoinks!- a lesson

Well iv seen that happen but im allways watching teamates because of the ones who dont see the massive tank driving around. I tend to be very slow with the tank and get an average of 4 kills with it before im taken out. But for Ghosts iv been teamkilled more times on purpose then players driving into me. I see more carefull drivers in this game than any other Halo game.
