Many pro Grifball players like myself are gonna agree with me on this, here’s why…
I was playing on my best yet Grifball match to date, in my matchmaking history. I was 2 scores in on my team, 72 kills, a long, tedious, neck-to-neck match, when a wannabe troll kicked me because I accidentally killed him while intercepting the ball carrier on the other team. This infuriated me because I wanted to see this match end and see the carnage report for my kills and see what commendation I’d get potentially.
Serious Grifball players like myself would’ve brushed off the betrayal, Hell, even the constant purposeful betrayal wouldn’t bother most pro players or players who are out for the true competitive nature. It’s part of Grifball, it always has been.
This isn’t complaining about everything about Halo and isn’t intended to be, this is voicing the concern and frustration of a true fan of a very original and fun gametype that is potentially being ruined by such a flawed feature.
Basically, 343 Industries, please remove the betrayal option. We true Grifball fans don’t approve of it. It hasn’t been a feature, it shouldn’t be a feature. If someone accidentally kills another player with the hammer during an intercept with a teammate nearby, it’s gonna be an accidental kill, not a purposeful one.
I’m very upset that I got kicked on such a successful and great match full of kill medals and assists.
I’m sure a bunch of the wannabe babies are gonna give me flak for my opinion because some can’t handle the betrayal or are just absolute trolls and kick people for an accident on purpose, as most are nowadays.
As a pro Grifball player since Halo 3, I’m voicing my opinion over my absolute favorite gametype of all time.
Any TRUE Grifball fan will agree with me and agree that the betrayal boot option needs to go.
