Ok, I rarely do this. People make mistakes but a few games back I was betrayed and it rubbed me the wrong way, so I booted the -Yoink!-. A day or so later I get an XBL message that was like, “F@C%ing F@66ot!!” I was like," WTH?" This went back and forth to point where the dude was trying so hard to hit a nerve that he was insulting me as a “father figure”? Saying that I was a “another loser dad”. I have no clue who this kid is and he obviously has no idea what he is talking about so I blocked communication and reported him to XBL. Its a few days later and I’m still a little shaken. Do I “Reach” out to this poor soul or hunt him down and destroy him on the battlefield or do I just let it go and move on? I could use a little advise here. Thanks.

Report, block and move on bro…It’s a sad thing but some people are just that way and nothing you can do. Just pray that someone gets through to him before he does something incredibly stupid that would get him arrested. Yes trash talking can lead to that But still, block, mute, report and move on.
If by some chance you meet him again and he trashes you again, no blocks don’t last forever sadly, then contact Xbox Live about it. Let them deal with it.
The last individual to leave the community, I helped to create: Hence the D20 in my GT, chewed me out and threatened to take D20’s name through the mud. As SOP I told them, you do that and I will personally talk to Xbox Live Support and either you will be forced to remove your flaming or you may get banned, possibly permenately. After all in the CoC of Xbox Live there is a part that states: Do Not intentionally attack people or groups of people.
They were mad that I said what I did, but hey part of being a Leader is defender your group and I will do just that.

My vote would be to ignore it and move on. The game is full of immature individuals who have nothing better to do than to try and bring others down. It’s said but internet anonymity breeds stupidity and ignorance.
I normally send messages to those kinds of people that are obstinately sweet and caring, especially if they are angry and out of line. They normally quit bugging me after I express an interest in their well-being.
Haters will do just that…Hate. It can/does bring down the rest of us, and it sucks, but there’s nothing you can really do aside from what I’ve already stated…
But still, block, mute, report and move on.
