I’ve had a Series X now for a couple weeks. Everyday when I boot the game, or if I completely close out the game and reopen it I get booted from the first match. My fireteam will be down 1 and I get a disconnect. This has happened regularly to a couple of my friends as well and has caused temporary bans even though its not at our fault. How can we fix this serve issue with the Series X??

Bro, my friend has this same dang problem basically every night. It seems like the best way around it is to play a game before joining the fireteam. This game is such crap and I end up getting livid at the way things happen in this game. If Infinite doesn’t become a really good game I’m going to be a very upset fan and tempted to never play any future games. It seems like bungie was a key component to the success of these games.

I love the game itself, it’s the server connection that’s the problem. Somethings going on and they probably won’t fix it which is very upsetting. Guardian’s gets lots of hate but coming from someone who really only plays multiplayer I could really care less about story. MCC got a whole rework but they wont even touch 5 because Infinite is coming. I seriously hope they get it right.

This happens with mine as well. As a solution, the first thing to do when loading onto Halo 5 is to boot up a custom game and end it immediately. This guarantees that your first online match will not disconnect. Hope this helps! 
This same thing happens to me. Every time I try to join matchmaking, even if I get as far as being loaded in a full lobby, I’ll always get disconnected. The next try always works though?? Kind of obnoxious because I’ve had to reboot a few times to correct it. Seems like a Halo 5 network issue and less of a console issue.
