That is what it feels like for me, atleast as long as the rarity is higher than common.
Now I’ve used up all my warzone boosts, and while I do not recall all of them, the first boost I used was a Legendary one, not even a gamble boost, just RP jackpot. Two minutes or so into the match and I’m thrown out of the match.
Next boost just after I think was a rare, same thing happened. Then after that, I used commons, not a single problem with disconnects.
Then later in aren, Legendary arena boost, think it was legendary, that match disconnected me quite fast as well. Following game I tried a Rare, which I actually got something from. Thought this luck would hold, uncommon RP boost, nope, ground pound a flag carrier was not allowed and as soon as I connected my fist with the head of the carrier -> disconnected.
Mind you, there was never any lag, and these are some of the more memorable boost I’ve used with disconnects, there are other disconnects when using boosts.
I also know corelation isn’t the same as causation. So no, boosts do not cause disconnects, atleast they shouldn’t.
You’re now allowed to laugh, as long as you tell your story.
This has been my de facto conclusion as well. As long as I don’t use legendary boosts, my games run just fine. I think I’ve only had one game finish successfully while using a legendary boost.

Well I did say at the end that Boosts do no cause disconnects, it just feels like it cause coinscidentaly (sp?) I’ve been disconnected from perfectly fine games lag wise when using higher rarity boosts. I hace also disconnected from fine games when not using boosts.
