I (obviously) haven’t been on this forum for all that long. I never got into Waypoint for Reach, and didn’t play 3/ODST online enough to bother. Plus I jumped into H4 late because I just got back from Afghanistan. However, I’m already noticing a big trend for the most active H4 posters…
Most of the ones I’m seeing make massively stupid suggestion on why certain things in the game are broken and/or bad or unbalanced or etc., and are acting like they’re some kind of “pro” while probably never having gone to a professional event… Are also massive stat padders, boosters and achievement/medal whores.
The following scenario is becoming pretty common -
“Man, this guy is limited… Let me check out his service record real fast. SR130. Every high ranking medal you can get. Almost 100% completion on anything that gives you unlocks. Stupid high KDR and W/L ratios. Barely more time in matchmade games than I have (at SR55)… and it’s a ton of griffball with a full team so he gets 50 kills per game. Huh.”
Am I missing something, or has it always been like this around here? Guys with very little, and/or very slanted experience with the topics they’re talking about trying to pass their opinions on it off as if they’re some national-level tournament winning person with a popular twitch.tv stream?

Good to know. I’m still peeved about not having my Legendary completion commendations, though. I bought the damn game at Salerno on my way back to the US and played it on my mobile game station… Beat it solo on legendary, but because I wasn’t on Xbox Live at the time I have the achievements, but didn’t get the commendations. D:<

Yep. If you make a thread not ripping on Halo 4, 5/10 times it will die without a post. These forums are filled with hypocrisy and biased opinions. Try too look past that, these forums are really good.

True enough. I only beat the game partway through on co-op, so I suppose I could get that done for the achievement and the commendations. Not looking forward to having to go back through it on legendary though… Frustration. >:(
