Boosting achievements for Halo 3

Anyone want to do this? Must have all of the maps, so we can play Team Mythic and unlock the majority of the multiplayer achievements.

I’m a level 4 in Lone Wolves, and I only need 2 achievements in that playlist, so if anyone is within 10 ranks of me, I’d appreciate some help there as well.

Boosting… lol.

Boosting? lol

Love the gamertag,by the way guys boosting is what they use to call them back in the days,i would like to help you out whit overkill (last one i need) msg me up when you gather more people.

It’s for my other account, I need all the achievements so I can use the katana. You realize getting the achievements on Halo 3 these days is nearly impossible without boosting, right? Thanks for the useless post.

It’s nearly impossible because people stopped playing. You’re able to get the Katana just by getting 1000 gamerscore, which is easily done without multiplayer. Just so you’re aware.

I already knew that, but thanks for trying to help, I guess. I’d still rather have the game completed though. You could just say “good luck” next time, just so you’re aware.

Actually, he can say whatever he wants. But I have to say, I don’t get the purpose of “boosting” for achievements you didn’t even earn. I mean, what’s the point? If you didn’t win the race, what good is the trophy?? Achievements are supposed to be something you accomplish and can then look back on for fun. They aren’t intended to be this serious at all. The fact that people actually cheat for these is… pretty sad.

FYI, you CAN still find DLC games, it just takes a bit of good timing and luck. I was missing multiple achievements for this account this time last year and I’ve managed to get them all and 1750 this game, legit, without any of this boosting nonsense. What I did was get on during the weekends and search either Rumble Pit or Team Mythic. Now sometimes I wouldn’t find a game, but a lot of times I actually did after about 5-10 minutes waiting. I didn’t even put much time into this; just getting on every now and then and searching for a few minutes on strategic days was enough for me to find all the games I needed. And the thing was, it was so satisfying to actually complete this game, knowing that I was legit and hadn’t gotten there by running around like an idiot and killing some kid and his guests over and over who aren’t even playing…

You do what you want though. Just know that “boosting” has got to be one of the gayest things ever.

Have you ever actually been cheated before? Sure, you can pretend like people who boost achievements are lazy or taking the fun out of the process but to call it cheating is an exaggeration. There were legitimate cheaters out there ruining the fun for other people (modding, ddosing, deranking) and you wanna categorize someone like me with them? Achievement boosting is harmless, you’re an idiot.

Boosting has got to be up there with deranking as one of the most moronic things scrubs do in this game. The fact that you say it isn’t cheating is even more hilarious. I doubt Bungie intended these achievements to be earned by a kid killing some idiot and his guests who aren’t even playing. I could really care less what you do tho bud. I just laugh at how terrible most of this community has become these days…

please. I earned all of them legit when the game was populated, I don’t see why you care so much. Boosting has a valid reason these days whether you think earning them legit isn’t a complete waste of time or not. I earned all of the LASO achievements on MCC, and now I’m boosting the easy achievements in Halo 3. Stay mad.

Lololololol I’m sure you did pal.

Not mad at all tho, like I said I could care less if you cheat for these or not. I just find scrubs like you both hilarious and sad to be honest. Unfortunately, you are rather indicative of the overall state of much of this community.

Your best bet is to just talk when in a lobby and hope that the other players are willing to help you out.

Boosting is a form of cheating and now that this thread has caught a little traction, I’d be careful

I doubt I’m going to need real help with these. Finding more than 3 other people in Lone Wolves might be a challenge for Overkill, but I have 4 controllers and have a friend who does as well.

I hope my boosting thread isn’t too cancerous for the Classic Halo Games section here at halowaypoint dot com.

Remember that those achievements need to be done in Lone Wolves which is a Ranked Playlist meaning you can’t go in with guests.

Yeah I guess I’m up for it, if you’re still going for it send me a message.

I’m for helping you out. I know I’m really late to the party, but I never got around to getting the “Killtacular” achievement in Halo 3. I started playing that game in 2010, and when I’d gotten the DLC for it, the lobbies were already reduced to 3v3 or 2v2 because the population was dwindling. It’s just not feasible to get an achievement which requires you to get 5 kills within 4-5 seconds of each other with only 2-3 people on the map.
