I was toying with this idea the other day. Would people like it if instead of sprint we would have some sort of booster AA. Sort of like a cross between sprint and thruster pack.
EDIT: or just bring back the sprint AA
just remove AAs and sprint all together.

Never will happen though, Spartans smoke 5 packs a day so they can only sprint for 15 sec without resting.

I would say keep sprint and thruster as a separate thing. Sprint isn’t even that good, running is what usually gets people killed.

Most people do get killed due to sprinting in Halo 4. I 100% agree. Hopefully they find a medium that makes everyone happy. Highly doubtful though.

This just make us faster by default, ohhh wait. that would be to much like this game I know called Halo. We aren’t suppose to be playing that game style anymore, we play this hybrid crap.
If you like Halo 3, then play it. Why try to make Halo 4 into something else? Look at Infinity Slayer Pro, nobody played it. That is what would happen to Halo 4 if you and other try to change it into Halo 3. I hope that 343i provides mechanisms in customs for people to create “your version” of Halo. That playlist will fail. Please 343i… do it! I want to say, “I told you so!” when the dust settles.

Yes, and they can just keep on raging all they want, or they could learn to actually get good at the game.
Catering to bad players doesn’t solve anything.
Pandering to the lowest common denominator doesn’t solve anything, regardless of what it is. It just makes society as a whole worse off.

If you don’t like Halo, then don’t play it. Why try to make it into something else? Look at Halo Reach, everyone hated it. That is what will happen if Halo 4 continues down the road and trys to change it into a generic FPS. I hope that 343I provides mechanisms in matchmaking for people to not have to rely on customs.
