I got halo anniversary for Christmas with a bonus skull and avatar armor since the whole 343 taking over halo thing has happened my bonus skull has stopped working it was the grunt birthday party skull it shows up in game but says not unlocked and I don’t have the old code for it I need a new one to get it to work if anyone could help me I’d gladly appreciate it thanks.
The Grunt Funeral skull was the bonus skull you got from the code. I think you have to find the Grunt Birthday Party skull.
If you just typed the wrong skull and you actually can’t access the Grunt Funeral Skull, then try putting in the re-downloading it and see if that works. Hope this helps 
I’ll definltly look around the game to see if it’s a skull I can find and the thing is the skull isn’t redownloadable it’s a game add on so I can’t download it again but I’ll look in game for it thanks for the help.

No no, there are two skulls that you’re mixing up: Grunt Funeral and Grunt Birthday Party. The bonus skull whose code came packaged with the video game is the Grunt Funeral skull. If you have access to the Grunt Funeral skull, then your code worked fine.
As for Grunt Birthday Party - that one is hidden in-game. Good luck finding it!

You don’t need the code - it wouldn’t work again anyways. Just redownload the DLC.

Try downloading again then, Hopefully, this’ll work.
Here’s what you do, man.
I provided you a link to your Xbox live purchase history.(Assuming that you are already logged in to Waypoint with the same ID). This should hopefully work if you don’t live in the U.S.
Make sure you’re signed in to your Windows live ID.
Scroll down the list until you see “Halo Anniversary Grunt Funeral Pre-Order Skull”.
Click “Re-download”.
Turn your Xbox 360 on, and BLAMMMMMMOOOOO! You have your Grunt Funeral Skull back.
This also works with any other item you have downloaded on your account, ever.
This is what you have to do when you need to find or re-download something that was offered as a bonus, and not available on the regular dashboard.
If the link doesn’t work, and you don’t live in the U.S.
Log into Xbox.??? in your region.
Search the top bar for “Support”
Click “Billing and Subscriptions”
Scroll down till you see “View your Xbox LIVE purchase history”
Find “Purchase History” in green text, then click it.
Then there you go. You are at the screen where you can view and re-download anything and everything you have ever downloaded.
Blast some grunts for me.
