Bonus REQ Ammo in Firefight?

Now, opinions of firefight balance aside am I the only one who wishes that REQ weapons has more ammo/energy in warzone firefight. Things like the rocket launcher or sniper which are designed to 1 shot people in normal warzone, can only dent most of the enemies in firefight and makes most REQ weapons pretty worthless. Four rockets isn’t even going to dent a boss, and might just about kill a knight which is a complete waste. The only REQ’s worth really getting are tanks.

Anyone feel the same way.

Have you seen the “patrol case” armour mod?
Sounds good for extra loadout weapon ammo, but then it says extra req ammo if you have the same weapon equipped twice?!
Literally makes no sense.

Yeah, I should try the patrol case too.
Great REQ are those with infinite ammo like scorpion, but I find that gausshog are really good too

If you have the patrol case mod active, you can “refill” a power weapon that is already full, effectively doubling its ammo…assuming you have the req energy available to call in the same power weapon again.

This, don’t get any more ammo from the cards, just can use two cards to hold more. ^

It also just increases loudout ammo storage from the go.

It’s handy, but I think it’s better in regular Warzone. I had a Hydra in Firefight with 54 rockets, but with enemies being so hardened to individual damage, I feel like those rockets were largely wasted. Against some spartans, tho, having 54 rockets at hand would have been somethin’ else. :wink:

or just spawn the req and walk up to the station to get a free refill?

It wouldn’t hurt to have at least twice the amount available for power weapons in firefight. They’re right now, the most unpowerful things. You’re better off with a magnum (free refills), in almost every situation.

Even the laser can’t one shot some of the vehicles bosses, I put 3 laser shots into a phaeton to take it down once. It’s sort of absurd.

Select patrol case, a req and another one of the same req and you get double ammo

Agreed, extra ammo from the go would make some reqs actually worth using.

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks this.

Seems that way!
Not sure the reward is worth the risk! Especially if you req, have to wait for the req bar to fill again and run back…
