If I pre-order Halo Wars 2, will I receive the gold pack bonus on Halo 5 if I have not yet launched the game with the said profile?

My guess is yes. I don’t see why you wouldn’t get them.
I believe people are getting confused on this it’s most likely you’re going to receive a gold pack for Halo Wars 2 Blitz Mode, Halo Wars 2 also has a pack system where you can get Blitz cards from them.

I have pre-ordered Halo Wars 2. I got my 5 free Gold Packs for Halo 5 as soon as I bought Halo Wars 2. Hope this helps.
I’m pretty sure it’s under your account so you should be good.
