Hey guys, I was just wondering if someone could give me some advice:
I bought halo wars from game and it says it has a download card inside it for bonus content (map packs and the other game modes) however I seem to have lost it. Is there anyway to reclaim it from microsoft, if so, how?

I think you have a few typos in your post.
If you meant to say “I bought halo wars from Gamestop…”, and you bought it used, then you dont have the codes, sorry.
The only way you will truly get those codes in the box is if you buy the game new. If you buy it used, the codes may still be in the box, but already used by someone else. In your case the person before you just took the card out of the box after he used it.
If you bought the game new, and lost the card, you are probably screwed. Microsoft wont help you in this case.

Yep, pretty much this.
You can get new ones pretty cheap on Amazon. Although, Im not too sure why you would want the content. I mean, I have one new as well, and all the cards that came with it, but haven’t even used them as I already have the content. Minus the flaming warthog. (BTW would love to grab one of those.)

No he actually meant Game, it is a shop in the UK, so I am guessing OP is from UK as I am myself.
You can buy it new and it will have codes in but some copies do not have the codes in them as they stopped making them, i guess it was like a promotional thing at a certain time.
Oh kk thanks guys. I did a little research and found out the map almost NEVER gets picked anyway, so I’m probably not going to get it.

There are 2 DLC’s, one for maps and one for gametypes. If you are interested at all, I highly recommend the map pack over the gametypes. The gametypes are not very good, and are extremely hard to find games for online. If you enjoy regular games, the map pack will provide more replay.
The maps dont come up that often because everyone in a game must have them. If everyone in the game has the maps, matchmaking gives a 40% chance the map will be DLC.
Example:
Normally there are three 3v3 maps, so adding the fourth from DLC would give normal chance of 1/4 (25%) for each map.
DLC is favored though, so instead of 1/4 each map, the DLC get 40% chance, and the three remaining maps each get 20%.
