It does, I mean it’s about time we got some sort of communication from 343 about this disaster.

Don’t get me wrong, the current state of the game is unacceptable - and it’s clear that 343i feel the same.
They’re working hard to fix it - we’re going to get our game - let’s hang tight and let them know we still love them and look forward to their work!

Putting aside the obvious dent in the community that this game has made, i agree. People like to accuse 343i of deliberately doing this to further cripple the community, or that they don’t care about Halo, they just want their money - baseless conspiracies at best. I think 343i is genuinely working hard to fix this game, and i think Bonnie’s apology makes it clear that they are in no way happy about the state of the game.
If only they can be upfront, and at least tell us the cause of these problems, and why the Content Update broke the game even further, instead of fixing it.

Admitting they messed up was a sign of good faith. Better than most devs do when they botch a release. They admitted they messed up instead of making excuses.

No it’s not. The collection have 4-5 game engines but no they’re not running all 4 at once.
