I considered to think that the bolt-shot should be Nerf because no other secondary can 1-shot anyone. And from the magnum and the plasma pistol they take time to kill. When i see people use this weapon i see it as a smaller shotgun everywhere. Not only that i see people use this weapon everywhere and it gets annoying at times. At least balancing like it holds-down charge shot can take out its shield. Then i would find that promising. Tell what you think about the gun and lets talk about it
The boltshot is a very powerful weapon and is to be the most superior of all secondary when it comes to 4v4 or pretty much any situation. Sadly i dont think it will get nerfed ever. Halo 4 was only added because master chief was included in the game and the MCC has all of his games and not very many people care about halo 4. Im sorry about the frustration but its just how it is… trust me i feel you

Funny thing is they nerfed it post launch of Halo 4… Yet it is OP. But it will never be nerfed again, like commenter above said.
The Boltshot is fine the way it is, in my opinion. The burst function requires charging which is VERY audible, so for all you guys that hate getting shot by it, when you hear that whir, back the -yoink- up!
