When I use the boltshot, I can be in melee range of someone and it doesn’t even take down their shields. When someone’s 8 feet away from me, the boltshot takes down my shields. Wut.
The bolt shot still sometimes surprises me with its kill distance tbh. That being said i dont think i’ve ever had this issue you mention here. weird.
its a stupid weapon, like the scattershots okay, it varies on kill distance, good gun, boltshot is more powerful, and has more range it seems, people kill with at good distances with the boltshot
The boltshot has a further kill range then shotgun and scattershot. now thats a serious problem. a secondary weapon that 1 hits with a further range then the close range weapons class? it makes them utterly useless. I think the only way to fix boltshot is make it 1 shot then you have to reload. make it use all the bullets in 1 shot and take away its range to a beat down range.
Seen it, just a glitch thats all. Other day, was in a Warthong, got shot by the tank in Exile, for a strange reason, we didnt go boom. Seen it with headshot where it took over three headshots when an enemy shields are down

- Hammer, yes
- Melee, yes
- Scattershot, it can
- Shotgun, less likely but still can
