I got Halo 4 for Christmas, and so far it’s AMAZING. Although, there are some problems that came to my attention almost immediately. The Bolt Shot for me is way too powerful. You could be 20 feet away from a guy and he just charges and then it hits you and you either die or are instantly one shot. For the Battle Rifle, if you are in a mid-ranged battle with the DMR and Battle Rifle, pretty much non of your shots hit at all, and the DMR’s power and range is almost impossible to beat. So, in conclusion, I hope that this update with the CSR will include a less powerful Bolt Shot, and a more powerful and longer ranged BR. Tell me what you think!
Welcome to Halo 4
I assume you dislike the game?

Keep your distance with the BR.
Hide around corners with the BS.
Elementary my boy.

Stay out of that range or carry stickies
Carrying stickies should hardly be the solution to a OHK starting pistol.
No-one likes being -Yoink- stuck.
Considering the fact that the BR and DMR are both precision weapons, there needs to be equality with the weapons. The DMR is like a sniped that takes 5 shots to kill. The BR is also the more original weapon, and it returning to the game was what made everyone STOKED, but what kind of disappointment is it when the weapon can’t even shoot 30 yards? I refuse to be a noob and camp in corners with the BR and wait for someone to come close to me. The BR was intended to be an all around good close range and long range weapon.
Elementary? I am pretty sure I know the ways to get around it, I just see no reason to. The weapons are not equal, and that’s all I’m saying
The BR has always had the capabilties too pull up 4 shot kills except all 4 shots need to be fired rapidly and all head shots.
Tip:But the inner circle of the reticle right above the head.
BR is fine. DMR is a bit too strong, but not as badly as people make it out to be.
The br is good man its just that they gave the dmr the ability to shoot fast at no cost, but just move and keep the aim icon on their heads and you will triumph.
I feel the DMR could afford to take one more shot to take out shields. As it is, it performs as well as/better than the BR at any range.
That being said, if you like the Battle Rifle, you can make it work. I put up with the Carbine’s reload time and 1 kill per mag because I think it’s a sweet gun, and still do excellent on a match’s scoreboard. Use it long enough, and you’ll just sort of adjust to it.
Am-Tip! Just because you see an enemy doesn’t mean you have to shoot them on the spot. Wait until you’re at a good range, and can get the first shot in, and you should be able to take out good players with DMR’s no problem.
As for the Boltshot, seems to be a 1-hit kill at ranges longer than a Shotgun’s, but most people waiting around corners are a bit jumpy, and you’ll hear the gun charging up early enough to back off/toss a grenade.

Actually it was intended to be a close to mid ranged weapon, The DMR is (Designated Marksman Rifle) which was and is Intended to be the Long range weapon starter to the BR, This is what I mean when I say people just hate how the DMR is on top from Reach and all they want is the BR to be on top again.
Another person complaining about the BR not being strong enough. YAWN. This isn’t h2 and h3. The Br has been in less halo MM titles than it has been featured in. The DMR is fine. Reduce the fire rate and leave it alone. Buff the -Yoinking!- carbine up.
