Everything you just said was assuming everyone is a “he”. What about “she”? sexist much? after all women do happen to play video games including Halo.
There’s been enough “for or against” boltshot threads now. It’s like armor lock all over again where these threads are pointless. 343 has enough info now to make the choice themselves. Adding more threads are just gonna lead to flaming, stalemates, and a lot of buried threads

You’re a freaking moron. Just because OP didn’t account for every women doesn’t mean he disregarded them. Over sensitive people like you just like to cry about everything they possibly can.
I play in teams, we are fairly skilled individuals and we are teamed up against equally skilled players, and no one camps with it, with how large the radar is, you can whip it out, time your charge and kill them offensively.

I don’t see that many female Spartans, maybe 1 every other match or so. I remember seeing more in Reach. But it’s obvious that they weren’t trying to ‘offend’ anyone, so why are you trolling them?

True, you do not know who has one, but if you get killed by it in a battle you know that, that player is using it. So its up to you to counter that player and get your revenge kill. Fool me once, same on you, fool me twice, same on me!!!

However, the Sniper Rifle has extremely limited availability, which acts as a counter balance. The Bolt Shot has no such limitation, which is one of the largest reasons it is such a problem in the Halo 4 sandbox.
Also, I would just like to state for the record: I do NOT get constantly killed with the Bolt Shot. I am the one who constantly does the killing. I am able to dominate entire games with it, yet I still believe it is overpowered and needs tweaking or removal.

Sniper rifle is great up close, has the farthest range, AND is amazing against vehicles.
