Ive been griped with this topic ever since i played the flight, a nagging feeling that this system could be so good but yet is so bad, let me explain. This system as an idea is great, it opens up the possibility for massive player expression, but 343 didnt add it for that reason, they added it because of the current political climate around genders and such and wanted to be “inclusive” this is all fine and dandy, except in this move 343 has now excluded everyone else, these body types are nothing more then 3 androgynous, practically identical from 5 meters, half baked spartan bodies, these are fine as long as everyone else has their pick too, why shouldnt i be aloud to play as a buff spartan, or a slim lean spartan, or an overall inbetween. This system opens up lots of room for personalization for players if 343 uses it right after launch and produce some higher quality body types
You really think there won’t be more than 3 body types at launch? They flat out said multiple times the customization in that flight was just a sliver of what the actual will be.
Male and Female, varying body sizes, and maybe different voices for when you melee / take a shot / die. No reason for it to be more complicated than that.
how would political climate play any role here? if anything more identical body types would be a gameplay decision regarding hitboxes and visual clarity. halo is a competitive shooter with an emphasis on pinpoint aim and above all else, fairness.
When compared to variations in the actual suit of armor, I don’t think there would be a stark difference in body types even between polar opposites (male running a steroid cycle vs. slim female). Was Jorge actually a unit or was his armor just big AF?
I think people that want a “buff spartan” or a “slim lean spartan” will get more mileage out of choosing a thicc armor vs. a light armor.

They also said Halo Infinite would Launch with all game modes of previous Halos… But now Co Op Campaign and Forge are months after launch

I definitely agree with you. All we have seen is 3 versions of a male body. Cool, where is my female body? Where is my buff dude? Where is my buff female? What about a FAT spartan??? Why can’t I be like me in real life and FAT! I wanna be puddy mc tubstub and roll around on the battlefield instead of sliding? Lol just saying. If I can’t have a female spartan with a big Booty then I wanna be a jolly Santa with a pot belly and swiping and swaying. Not just 3 whatever dudes. That proper diversity hahahha

Next you’re gonna’ tell me that because they aren’t including every possible voice type, that they should only have one.
