Bodies should bounce off of vehicles!

So if anyone has ever splattered someone or killed an enemy driving a vehicle (Everyone should have if you play Halo) you’d notice that in ALL of the games the dead bodies go through vehicles as if they weren’t there. If you shoot someone out of the driver seat of a Warthog their body will simply fall through the vehicle.

Who thinks this should be changed for Halo 4? Imagine driving through a squad of Grunts (or whatever their replacement enemy is) and seeing them roll over the top of the vehicle, it’d be awesome! Also, it’d be really cool if you killed an enemy driving a vehicle and his/her dead body would stay in the seat. Then instead of just jumping in the vehicle your character would throw the dead body out before jumping in (it would take the same amount of time as normal).

Basicaly, vehicles should act like solid objects and dead bodies should interact with them a bit more. Anyone agree with this?

Whatever, I couldn’t care whether it happened or not.

Just thought it’d be a cool little addition seeing as it hasn’t changed at all over the last 10 years.

It would add some realism without breaking the game… I like it!

It sounds like a good idea if they have the time for it to be put in Halo 4 the should.

That…actually sounds like a neat idea, I like it

I always thought of this, but never actually asked it because I thought everyone was already aware.

I agree completely with this idea, or if the enemies go underneath your vehicle then there should be a noticeable bump when you’re driving over them.

I like the idea and I think that it would be a really cool thing to do but the only problem is that it could cause lag in the game. Now with having a moving solid object like that and having things interact with that object, the console would have just that much more to keep track of. I think that bodies pass through vehicles and players for the same reason. I am no programmer but I think that there is a reason. But if it could be done than I would definitely appreciate it.
Cool idea though!

i think this would be awesome and moving solid objects dont seem to cause much lag in forg

If they have improved the physics in Halo 4, then this should be a part of it.

It’s all about the physicsssssssss. A little off-topic but if you look at Diablo 3’s physics right now. They’re unbelievable. Absolutely frickin amazing. If 343 could create a -Yoink!- physics engine it adds that -Yoink!- extra jaw dropping “Ahh” feeling you get when something awesome happens.

I think it sounds cool here on paper, but i believe somehow it will get frustrating when it comes to gameplay …

That’s why they have to make it -Yoink!-. If it’s not -Yoink!-, save it for 5 :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s like what chefs do, if it’s something you wouldn’t be proud to send out to someone to eat, don’t send it out.

Also, lets look at Diablo 3 again… How many years have they pushed this game back?

Don’t rush Halo 4, take your time and take more if you need to (saying that hurt).

Yeah this wouldn’t change any gameplay, so yes.
