Mega Construx will soon release some Halo infinite vehicles sets, and the B model of the Warthog is a boat!
Finally we are going to have a water vehicle in a Halo game!

I’m not really sure that we will. I mean the pelicans alternate mode is a firebase that looks half -Yoinked!-.
Not gonna lie boat combat would be pretty cool though.
But… the Master Chief can’t swim!!!
Whats up with the massive turret infront of the drivers windshield? is the driver supposed to stare at gunners a** instead of seeing where they are going?
Yeah & Jet-skii confirmed with the Mongoose alt…
I’d avoid making click-baity titles like this in the future. Water vehicles are not confirmed in Infinite. That being said, it would be cool, and I know Bungie wanted them back in the day but couldn’t make it work.
Boat combat the battlefield games has always been some of my least favorite combat in that series. I imagine I’ll have a similar feeling for boats in Halo unless 343 works some sort of Halo magic.

Don’t think that’s as confirmed as you may think. Look at the marketing…some are marketed as Halo Infinite while some have no mention of Infinite. Just wait till E3 before making assumptions.

I kind of doubt that. It’s the weight of his armour in the past that’s made it difficult to stay afloat.
Boats are an extremely limiting form of transportation as they can only traverse water. Building PvP maps around this concept would be difficult, as the waterways would disrupt the flow of traditional combat. Boats could be used as a setpiece for part of a campaign mission, but I don’t see anything beyond that.

just because the toy can make a boat version does not mean that there is going to be a boat in infinite.
don’t get your hopes up, plenty of mega construx/mega bloks sets were never in any games, let alone an alternative build to existing vehicles.
Why is everyone hating, this would be awesome
Looks like the alt versione of the mongoose is not a jet ski, but a human variant of the ghost.
Forgive me the following rant. Prometheans are just robots looking like humans, dogs and bees (why?!). Promethean weapons are just reskinned human weapons. Out of the new weapons 343i introduced, the stick detonator, railgun and SAW are original (not even very much original), but the storm rifle, hydra and plasma caster are just reskinned version of existing Halo weapons. The new design is just a mash up of old designs. After H4, Halo MCC and Halo Nightfall, I lost my hopes with 343i, they can’t even make a stupid app, Halo Channel was buggy. The debucle of H5 didn’t surprise me and Halo Infinite is not looking much better whit its unoriginal designs and ideas like the reskinned ghost. I like how they approced the narrative in the E3 2019 trailer, but then I think what 343i learned from H5 and I lose my hopes once again, because Bonnie Ross said they wanna make a more “simple (dumb) story” (source: D.I.C.E Summit 2017 (Day 2) - IGN Live @ 1:32:00 on YouTube).
I’m truely glad for the Halo community and how much it is hyped for Halo Infinite, but, call me a pessimist -Yoink-, the alt version of the mongoose is just another little evidence in this longh history that tells me I can’t be excited.
Prestige world(wide wide wide).

Doesn’t come off as “hating” to me, but more pointing out the reasonable observation that showing up as a toy doesn’t confirm anything.
I’ve been wanting watercraft since Reach
Marines can actually have a waterbased amphibious role now.

Well a lot of people like to be naysayers or to quickly correct others.
However, I think the main thing is just how misleading or ‘clickbaity’ the thread overall is. I’m sure its just a misunderstanding on the OP’s part.
That said, boats in Halo would be cool and I definitely see it as a real possibility in the future with the seeming openness of the halo ring environment based on the trailers.
If you take into account 343’s audio recordings with underwater explosions, the E3 2018 trailer with an underwater sentinel, and this new Mega Construx build then you can see it is likely that we will see a new emphasis on water combat at least in the campaign. I’d understand the pessimism if there was only the Mega Construx evidence but I’m optimistic because the bread crumbs are there. Cmon super soldiers can’t swim?
