Anyone else sick of seeing people get out of the map (on the top of the building on the left side, on the roof on the right, or on top of the greenish flag thing in the courtyard) and win the game because of it?
It’s kind of frustrating that there are a bunch of cheap places to go, but there’s nothing being done to prevent it.
Deadwalk addresses most of these issues but the way I see it, they didn’t win because they camped in remote places; it’s because zombies mindlessly rush the high ground and give them free kills. Sometimes even falling off the map repeatedly which costs the zombies a point and further solidifies their lead. Counter camping with camping of your own. When a minute or two goes by with no zombies in their sight the humans have no choice but to COME TO YOU for kills before the round ends. Be ready to strike when they do.

Well, the problem is, you’re guaranteed to lose when someone does that for all the reasons you just mentioned. If you’re camping waiting for them, you aren’t getting any kills either.

In many cases, Halo can be a psychological game, where you attempt to mess with the minds of your opponents. Many players are impatient and very eager to score a few kills (hence the seemingly mindless rushing on the part of the zombies). If they don’t see any enemies from their location, they’ll move to a new one, even if their position was one that provided them with good cover and good view of the rest of the map. Counter-camping is one tactic that often forces other players out of their spots, and, if done right, can lead to victory for the zombies.
However, I do agree that there need to be soft kill-zones in certain areas of the map, as I feel the areas are exploits, as opposed to legitimate areas to stay.
The camping isn’t really the issue, it’s the fact that they’re at a part of the map that isn’t even meant to exist.
I’m not really a fan of Boardwalk anyway. As soon as I see the map, I either make sure that map doesn’t get voted, or quit.
i blame the zombies who dont use there brains who keep on rushing them giving them easy kills…
the one on the flag poll is a easy kill but the other spots, i will not waste my time on them
