This is a good idea, I think it should go back to having to break the hatch first like in Halo 2. I have a ton of tank cards but I hardly ever feel like using them as it’s way too easy to be boarded.

Yea it was in H2. You also could shoot the driver guard off the Scorpion to headshot the driver in H2.

They also need to bring back the shooting of a wall or nearby object close enough to the boarder (and consequently you) in order to save yourself, but also damaging yourself.

I think this still works, i know i’ve done it. And yh I remember the good old days of hatch bashing in halo 2, that tactic was the best and gave you ample time to counter a sneaky boarder ruining you’re killing spree.

I’m pretty sure it’s been removed because I use wraiths a lot and I can’t count how many times I’ve shot the wall right behind the boarder who was boarding from the front and he still lives to plant and -Yoink!- me.

I don’t think you can plant grenades in h5 without having any

Yeah reach had this perfectly as well. I kinda wish you could back up into a wall and splatter the high jacker as well. But yeah they need to add this back

I’m not sure if you’re being serious or not. Assuming you are, I will say that you cannot plant grenades if you don’t already have any grenades. That never changed and has remained a key function of boarding since Halo 2.
If you’re being sarcastic, then, um, yeah. Carry on, I suppose.

And the wraith as well, it was a pretty sweet strategy.
