The inability to board a tank from the side treads is unconscionable. There, I said it. I have looked stupid enough times running around a tank looking for a place to grab hold, only to get exploded by the tanks ridiculously tiny firing arc. I understand if this can’t be changed in Halo 4 but please look into it for Halo 5.
Or, my favorite, hopping into the turret instead.

You can if you shoot the hatch cover off.
I have had that happen when I’m driving the tank several times - usually someone with a Sniper Rifle - but occasionally with the DMR too.

I can kill Wraith drivers easily with a Railgun. Believe it or not, putting a good shot on the hatch, even if the Wraith is still intact, will kill the driver instantly.
The trick comes with a plus, as well. You get the Wraith and the guy who got killed goes mad and charges at you after every respawn. Free kills.
I’m much more annoyed at the ability for the driver to kill anyone that boards from the front. It essentially makes the only viable way from behind.

Isn’t there a new ability coming in the Aug 20th release that ejects you from the vehicle if it’s going to explode?

Yes which will add to the bad vehicle gameplay IMO.

That explains how I downed that wraith without even scratching it the other day… That also explains my Running Riot…
I have had my Scorpiom boarded several times via the sides on LongBow lately dries me mad so I just shot at a wall getting a busted & suicide at the same time hahaha
