Would it make sense for this to be the remake map that was hinted?
They put emphasis on it being outdoors, and Boarding Action’s in space, which I’d consider very outdoors.
What do you think gameplay would be like on that with AAs? Would they make it so that you can jet pack across?
If they did remake it, I think they would make jet packing across a difficult thing to do, but possible. I believe they’d make it larger as well. It was a very fun map in Halo CE, not sure how that would transfer over to Halo 4 though.
Well… I’m not sure that Boarding Action can really be classified as being outdoors…
However, I do love myself some Boarding action, and am reminded that we do need to space maps in Halo games. So if it were to return, I for one would definitely not complain!
Boarding Action, along with most of CE/PC’s large maps, would not work with Halo 4’s gameplay. However, most of Halo 2’s large maps, including Terminal, would.
I would rather have a map inspired by Boarding Action. Put low gravity zones in the middle so we can get over to the other side if we have a jetpack or thruster pack, make the layout less difficult to traverse/less complex, and we’re in business.
But if 343i doesn’t do it I sure as heck am. Thank you Forge!
> Also, it’s technically an indoor map, so it wouldn’t fit the description.
Meh, I look at it like my porch. My porch has a roof, but is completely open in the front, therefore when I go on it, I’m going outside. Much of Boarding Action is open on one side, some doesn’t even have a roof.
I think it could work in the story as a ship in space, broken apart in the middle. So, it could be sparking and there’d be fires. Debris floating around on the outside.
