So what do you think is the better game?
this isn’t going to end well.
You are seriously asking that question on Halo Waypoint? All biases aside though, BO3 looks nowhere near as good as its predecessors. You could say it’s trying too hard to be something it’s not (a futuristic FPS).

With Halo, Destiny, & Titanfall, you’d think CoD would stick with competing with Battlefield for the more modern/realistic shooter. Personally, I haven’t liked CoD since they left WWII (the first Modern Warfare was decent, though, but after World at War, it started going downhill. Fast).
But when it comes to futuristic, genetically and technologically enhanced soldiers doing a bunch of cool sci-fi stuff, I’m going to stick with the franchise that’s been doing that since 2001.
I have always disliked CoD after they left the modern era and went into the future. However, I played the BO3 Beta and it is the first CoD I actually have fun playing. I still would rather play Halo 5, though.
It really depends which question you’re asking here:
Highest population / More popular in general? Black Ops 3.
Better quality gaming experience? Halo 5.
inb4locked
Both games will do good.
Im getting both so it dont matter to me

i ordered both, but i intend to play all of halo, i only got CoD for the zombies mode and maybe the MP
What does it matter? Serious question.

Ooh-rah!
Which of them is better? For me Halo, I love games that make you think and explore it universe. Halo has a solid plot, and damn, It’s pretty fun.
Which of them is going to sell more? CoD. It’s a shooter where the players are free to choose the loadouts and It’s so much more dynamic than Halo.
well blops 3 looks like its going to be the best cod ever made, but then halo 5 is shaping up to be the best halo as well
feature wise while halo 5 is going to have the longer campaign with bigger maps, cod has an rpg like skill and progression system in their campaign which encourages replay along with multiple choices and squad play it might rival halo’s campaign as far as replay ability. Though black ops 3 has a zombies campaign mode, which means it has two campaigns rather than one which is a big boost for it when compared to halo, though it may not be aslong as halos even with both combined
technically speaking both games are going to be the most progressive out of any in their respective franchises
as far as multiplayer goes, i couldn’t care much about either games multiplayer
but the most important question is Who even cares, like what you like dont play what you dont its simple, it doesnt matter which is ‘better’ since its all subjective
Isisco wow your exactly like me im only getting bo3 for zombies and maybe multiplayer as well too lol.although i dident enjoy the beta much maybe because i have been playing masterchief collection so much that i have lost all skill in cod.
No one can give you facts regarding if something is better than something else, it’s your personal opinion. If you’re asking my opinion, from what I’ve played of BO3 it is a bit different from past cods. But it doesn’t change the formula of the cod franchise, unlike Halo 5 which seems to have changed a lot about Halo, which imo is better than stagnation.
Bo3 is the best CoD since MW2 (MW3 was the worst most hateful quick scope/aimbot game EVER with its TINY maps) but it has blatantly copied Titanfall and possibly Halo 5 mechanics also? (Depends if Halo worked on the boosting and sliding abilities before BO3 did)
Halo I reckon is going to be the 2015 fps game of the year (no bias, honestly!!! Haha) just because of the sheer amount of money, work and will to make it a successful game. I applaud 343I for moving the game forward instead of being stale like CoD even though there’s loads of people who would want the same for Halo.

1st one I played was Cod 4. I will only acknowledge that and Mw2. Other than that I skipped Black Ops and that last Cod was Mw3. I knew it was time to give up on the franchise, and I don’t miss it to be quite honest after what I’ve seen.
I think they keep digging themselves into a bigger ditch, but hey, the fanbase is still very strong with them as always. Guardians shouldn’t have a problem competing with it.
I dont see why people think cod is getting worse, all of the new campaign features and the fact its scifi now only makes it better
Played a bit of the beta and saw the same death animations they had in COD 4 and have been using ever since. That sais something…
Bo3 beta sucked, zombies mode looks terrible, so I’m only buying black ops for the campaign. I’ll be playing all of Halo 5

Best example is that CoD4 felt more like a Spielberg movie and after that it felt like Micheal Bay took over everything. Plus their constant hard on for shock value moments has really cheapened the series.
