Blur returning for more cutscenes?

Blur created the cutscenes for Halo Wars and Halo 2 Anniversary, but will they come back for Halo Wars 2? I personally would love to see Blur return, but what do you guys think?

I really hope so.

Well the trailer looks like it is Blur caliber as well as cut from cutscenes found from the game. My guess is that Blur has returned to do cutscenes.

Adding to this, in the trailer we see the Halo 2A Battle rifle being used by one of the Spartans. I don’t see any other company re-using Blur’s assets.

Nice observation. Didn’t catch that.

If they did Halo 2 Anniversary and are doing Halo Wars 2, I wonder why they’re not doing Halo 5: Guardians.

probably because they’re working on MCC and hw2

I’m guessing cost. Probably had to trade Blur doing Halo Wars 2 instead of Halo 5.

Too expensive, and 343 wanted to have all their cutscenes run on their engine, to make the whole thing smoother.

Blur’s work is fantastic, but I agree that in engine cutscenes make for a more immersive campaign.
