Two new posters for Halo 5 have been showcased at SDCC and aside from the fact that they look absolutely amazing, they also revealed a new detail.
Previously we had seen the emblem for Fireteam Osiris on the right shoulder pads of Vale, Tanaka and Buck seen here, but now we also have the emblem for Blue Team which can be viewed here. It’s the shape of a blue/white circle with a lightning bolt going down the middle with a service star and bald eagle being in the upper left, while in the lower right is the roman numerals for two, which is most likely referencing the fact that Blue Team are Spartan IIs.
We also got a clearer view of what Fireteam Osiris’ emblem looks like seen here.
So what do you guys think of emblems? Do you like them, or think they look silly? Maybe You’d like these emblems available for us to select from when customizing our own spartan?
I like them both, Osiris a little more however, I don’t really like the fact that the blue team one is blatantly advertising the “Spartan II” thing. You would think if they picked their emblem they would go with something a little more subtle.

I mean, they’re the last “officially active” Spartan-IIs. I don’t see anything wrong w/ calling attention to that hugely important fact.

Well, ONI is renown for its ‘clandestine’ operations…
