Using Halo 5’s new color palette, how would you recreate Blue Team’s iconic armor colors?
I dont think you can like MC color.
To clarify, I made this post as an opinion-based feedback thread, in response to a question my friend was asking. The question is how would you, personally, recreate their armor colors? We agreed that it won’t be exact, because some colors are off-limits, but some we were arguing over. I’m curious what the community has to say.
I think some of the blueish colors can get you something to Kelly’s/Fred’s color scheme, but there haven’t been any colors that can get you close to Chief’s or Linda’s colors. The tans are too different and the sage in this game still doesn’t look good to me, which is a shame since if 343 did it right in campaign I don’t see why they can’t get it right in MP.

Agreed. Not to mention colors from previous Halo games that are missing altogether in Halo 5.
If they were all emerald green like they were in the books then that would be cool.

For the same reason that the campaign armours look amazing and the multiplayer ones look like absolute manure : the people in charge of the campaign art are amazing, while the multiplayer art team is far from great.

Maybe if they didn’t needlessly add white crap to the armor it would look better. Seriously, I’m wearing Helljumper right now. It’s beautiful, except for the weird white pattern on it. What is it even supposed to be? The pattern isn’t even symmetrical, it’s just random white shapes.

Exactly my thoughts as well! All of the white crap alongside the coloured undersuits takes a beautiful armour like Helljumper and turns it into… Whatever that’s supposed to be that you’re wearing. No offense intended to you, of course! You do what you can with what you have. I just don’t understand why anybody at 343i thought that slapping crap all over armour was a good idea that people would like, and why it should be accepted.
I wish there were no such thing as armour skins. From my perspective, 99% of them have been utterly horrible. Why can’t we have, you know, normal colour distribution like we had in all of Bungie’s Halo games?

This. They need to bring back Reach’s innovative armor customization, including the missing colors. If 343 insists on keeping armor skins, they could be made to work the way weapon skins do, with one skin covering every armor piece in a set. That way we could have armor skins and be able to mix and match armor pieces, PLUS a wide variety of colors that should never have been removed.
