Well here I am again… after A long technology deprived hiatus i have returned to post more about blue team… (And if the post title is “vague” my apologies.)
So I have been thinking… 343 has to show some Blue team interaction with the chief (not necessarily in halo 5, although that’s what were all hoping). its fairly inexcusable because we should at LEAST get a book or 2 about it. WE all know any surviving spartan II’s would try to contact the chief in some way shape or form. Maybe ONI’s keeping it all “hush hush”? After all… ONI’s kinda the bad group now. I just think… its almost canon breaking… anyone else think this?
I’m really not sure why I posted this… i guess I’m just happy to be back… and trying to get the blue team discussion going…
Second: We did learn that 343 has plans to include Blue Team in the Reclaimer Saga games at some point in the future. Here’s to hoping for more Spartan-IIs in Halo 5! I would personally love to see them appear as the co-op players (similar to what Bungie did in Halo 3).

Really? Well that’s brilliant! Do you happen to have the link to the “news release”?

I want to see more of Naomi, Chief and Blue Team reacting with each other.
The though of an emotionally flipsided view towards Halsey after the big revelations in K5 trilogy for Naomi will be a delight to watch. Especially when the topic arises between the remaining SIIs who are still absolutely loyal to Halsey.
The moment I want to see happen is when when Spartan Naomi gets too emotional about Halsey and confronts Chief, where Chief tries to subdue her and gets his -Yoink- kicked for the time being, only for her to push him over the edge and 117 then slugging it out with Naomi in a 1v1 Hand to Hand Combat would be a pretty much spectacular even to watch…
An SII vs an SII fight scene will always be the coolest thing that can happen to the Halo universe.
Yea…Been in my head for a long time now. Would love to see that happen. But a Spartan II taking on another Spartan is very highly unlikely to happen.
They will just hug it out with each other. That being said a might strong hug and feels trip for the spartans.
While we do not yet to have any official without-a-doubt confirmation that Blue Team will be featured in any of the upcoming games…we have gotten hints that they are at least being considered. And I think the fact that every time this subject is brought up on the forums the majority reaction is always positive should tell 343i something about what the fans would like to see.
Frankly I think the Spartans of Blue Team are the perfect characters to bring in to further explore the Chief’s history, personality, and his humanity. We’ve seen just how important they are to him in the EU, so with things likely coming to a major crisis in the next games there’s really no logical reason to leave them out of the Chief’s story this time via a conveniently written plot point (as Bungie was wont to do before every main title game release).

Ya, They seem to be pretty big hints tho…
“Kikis” answer is also very… hinting. Not to mention all the other “teasers” out their. It would be almost inexcusable to have all these hints out their and not show them in something other then the books.
On another hand… I heard a rumor that the people that played Kelly and Fred in FOD were signed on to Halo 5 as voice actors… Can anyone confirm?
Blue Team showing up in Forward Unto Dawn.
Linda’s cryopod shown in CEA.
Various members of Blue Team discussed in Infinity’s hanger.
Emphasis on Humanity: With Cortana gone, who will provide Chief with that human side? A Team, perhaps. How about his best friends and practically brothers/sisters? That would do.
With Cortana gone, it seems like bringing back Blue Team is a very possible way to continue expanding on Chief as a character. How he interacts with them after his soldier was “broken” by Cortana’s death will be interesting. It’s definitely possible and very hinted.
I think we’re gonna see more S-IIs in general. We’ve got the ones rescued from Onyx (who I assume weren’t just put down by ONI), we’ve got anyone else who survived the Human-Covenant War, we’ve possibly got the S-IIs from the Spirit of Fire (Source: Escalation), and probably a few more that I’m forgetting.
And, as some have said, with the Chief going semi-AWOL, one can only imagine the UNSC is gonna make use of every S-II it can get its hands on.

That’s been around for a while. He doesn’t say directly that blue team will be in the any halo game, just that what they do will be “germane” to the story. (its at 46:11).
also at 39:15, you will notice he mentions the Greg bear novels and Karan Travis novels, and not really the “old” ones in the context of the story. And this was made about 5-6 months before halo 4 came out… I don’t think this is concrete, but its certainly hopeful.
Also here is another link (scroll down a bit watch video)
It would nice to see the Spartan’s of blue team. It would be very cool to see Linda sniping pilots out of banshee’s with just one shot like in the first strike book!
and just playing with some fellow Spartan II’s on your side would be nice change to things I think!

I think we have some confirmation? Not sure if real or fake…
And would only make sense if they had some scenes from their younger years, which I suppose they’d have to if they wanted to explain who Johns friends are.
