Yea they made it 
I hope the introduction is something epic and I hope their individual strengths transfer into gameplay like Linda being the best with a sniper Fred a shotgun Kelly is fast and so on.

Deff, I would hope they go in depth of each character as well and not clump them together and say here is blue team. We still have a TV show as well!

We do not have cortana anymore, who is going to talk to us? Fred, Linda, Kelly!! Lots of scenarios I’m guessing to flesh them out.
Blue Team is going to side with Chief and ONI is going to end up executing them. I’m calling it now, Agent Locke is the new badass. 343 knows killing them will have great emotional toll and it would be a shocker.

Or possibly be the worst decision ever made. Why introduce a team that so many people have been asking for to return only to let them die in the same game? At least have them also be in Halo 6.

Then again they slaughtered Spartan Black without actually showing how and they murdered some beloved Spartan-IIIs in a forum post, so it’s not entirely out of the question.
I don’t think Blue Team is going to die since I think they’re going to push 4 player co-op a decent amount. They’ve gone through a lot of trouble to make these characters relevant recently in the extended universe (Halo: New Blood for reintroduction of Buck and Romeo, Escalation for Blue Team, etc) and now model / animate / voice them all individually in-game. If they started killing off characters, you’d be losing co-op partners. Maybe their fates are left ambiguous at the end of the game or something.
I really want them to do something cool like they did in the books. Let them display their unmatched teamwork in the games.

People received many bits of an image through the Xbox Newsletter yesterday. People put them together into a picture (which isn’t complete yet) and you can clearly see blue team on it.
If they are in the game… That would be great for the gameplay experience. Halo Reach was amazing having other Spartans to fight next to.

They are in the game. There’s no mistaken the fireteam with Chief in the latest image, and Chief’s last canon location was with Blue Team. He went AWOL with Blue Team so people have been speculating they’d be in the game since last summer.

Honestly I can only imagine the cut scenes now, showing John is not the best at EVERYTHING! Linda sniping heads off elites while Kelly is running and flanking some jackals Fred with John under fire taking out massive waves of covies. GAAAAHHHHHH
