Has there been any official word on playtime of both squads?
Personally, I’m not against playing as Osiris at all but I want to spend at least as much time with Blue Team.

No.
I’m guessing since we’re playing as Osiris trying to figure out what Blue Team is up to, us, the player, will be figuring it out along side them. So the first half of the game will be Osiris heavy. But as Blue Team’s motives become more apparent … or whenever yoink hits the fan … or as the game goes on … it becomes more Blue Team focused.
I’m probably wrong. I usually am. lol
I would assume it’s pretty much equal.
(It goes Osiris then Blue team)
1st mission: osiris, 2nd: blue, 8th: osiris (15th: Both ??? ??? ???)

The ign levels of halo I saw, I watched mostly just the first 2 and the first level they beat in about 15ish minutes while the second level, blue team, took them about 2x as long.
So I would guess blue team cause stuff to happen in a long level, and then team osiris comes in shorter ones?
As for my opinion, I do not mind as much the ratio if it means the pay off and lead up to halo 6 is amazing.
My thoughs are l if the story is amazing im fine with more osiris tbh.
I’m willing to bet Osiris will be 10-12 of the missions, while blue team will have the remaining 3-5.

Would not be surprised…
i’m assuming its more geared towards Osiris. Think more like Halo ODST, Osiris is trying to figure out what happened, or Hunt down Blue team, and once we reach a large enough story impasse they will switch to blue team for context.
In one of the other threads a bunch of people are saying that Blue Team are only in 3 missions. Do what you will with that, but as for me, I’m not believing it until we get an official confirmation.

Keep in mind MANY you tubers and reviewers have beaten the game already. And regardless if blue team IS only 3 missions, the entire story revolves around them.

True. But these you tubers and reviewers are only able to talk about the first 3 missions and mission 8. Unless one of them has specifically said that there are only 3 with blue team, (which I think would be breaking whatever agreement they made with 343), there is no actual confirmation that there are only 3 missions with Blue Team. And if they did, no one has provided a link with a solid source. The way I saw the conversation, it went like the telephone game. One person said half/half, then another person said they heard it was less than half in favor of Osiris. At that point it got out of hand with people saying “I heard it was like, 5:10 ratio!” “This person just said it was like, 3-5 Blue team missions!” “Wait, there are only 3 blue team missions!” “ragerageragerage” at which point it became solid fact that there are only 3 missions. C’mon people…sources

well, C’est la vie. I guess we’ll find out on the 27th if that’s really a bad thing. The game looks amazing, I’m not going to let this “imbalance” deter me from playing it

Yeah unless it’s some amazing photoshop skills we get three Blue missions and the last is Osiris saving Blue. I went from 100% hype, to having a pit in my stomach. I’m still buying it but holding off on opening my LCE until afterwards…gonna return that crap if it’s a Locke love fest and Chief and Blue are made out to be lesser thans. Still holding out hope though! I’d love to eat my own words.
