POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOLLOW
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
So I was playing the part of the mission where you have to destroy the vents and decided to do some adventuring. I happened to find a sword down on a lower piece of the station that is there every time in the same spot. There is a small device, just like the one you use to trigger the banshee swarm Easter egg earlier in the mission. It is located next to a plasma pistol. When you stand next to it it spurts out a couple weak jets of white flame and then has a strong burst of the very same flame. I have tried hitting it the the sword, but nothing.
Anyone else find this or know what it does?
UPDATE:
Another device spawns on the opposite side. Flames shot out when hit with the sword. I am holding both the sword and the plasma pistol. Not sure if it matters yet…
UPDATE 2:
A third device is located to the right of the shield door you go through to exit the area and reach the prowler.
