BLUE TEAM IN INFINITE.

> Well yes, but actually no. They have to be explained somehow, if they aren’t featured, and I hope to god they don’t just off screen kill them all. At the same time however, I don’t want them to be a big part of the campaign. In all honesty, I hope they bring back Arbiter as a secondary protagonist instead. Now, including them would be fine, but having three other Spartans around at all times was… not good in Halo 5. There’s a reason most missions in Halo Reach only had you paired with one other Spartan. It detracts from Halo’s sense of isolation. Suddenly Chief doesn’t feel all that important when you have three other just as well trained, strong, and fast Spartans along for the ride. Kind of why I hate Spartan IV’s but that’s another matter all together.

> Basically, yes. Include them, but not as main characters. I have wondered how 343i is going to go about them and Osiris, but we’ll see in due time.

Maybe they can be with you at some points, like reach were you are with the rest of the noble team only at certains points.
Osiris… Don’t expect nothing, buck is not with Osiris anymore, Osiris is now Locke, Vale and Tanaka only… And you know that we mostly only like Vale of those three.

And honestly, I don’t want the chief do all by himself, I Love fighting alongside with Marines. I don’t like to feel like superman, I Love fighting with Marines, Spartans or Elites alongside me, That make me feel like all the galaxy is fighting, all of them have a different life and they fight for many reasons, many of them just want to survive another day.

The chief is not god, he can die, everyone can die easily, ask all those Spartan II that are “MIA”.

I agree, Chief should not be alone. At least not for the first half of the campaign, much like Halo CE, 2, and 3. In those games, Chief starts out fighting alongside Marines, which is good. The marines of Halo are just as much a part of its identity as Master Chief (which is one reason why I hate Spartan IVs…). Noticeably however, in the latter parts, Chief is alone, such is the case in CE where from the Library on, Chief is alone. In Halo 2, from the end of Regret on, Chief is alone. In Halo 3, after The Covenant, Chief is alone albeit with the Arbiter and Johnson. I think Marines definitely need to be a big part of the Campaign in Infinite (Halo 5 didn’t have any, for some reason), but there is a difference between fighting alongside marines, and having three other Spartan IIs standing around with their thumbs up their -Yoinks!-, at all times. Having seen what Chief has done in HCE, H2, and H3, as a single Spartan, other Spartans feel absolutely redundant to the story. At that point, what could possibly be a challenge outside of an entire covenant army?

Basically, I agree wholeheartedly that Chief should not be alone, at least for the majority of the campaign. Including Blue Team members in certain missions would also be fine, though I will reiterate that I’d prefer the Arbiter for multiple reasons.

On another note, how the hell did you know, excluding Buck, that Vale was the only Fireteam Osiris character that I find interesting in any way?

I’d still prefer chief be with blue team the whole time with the option to turn off the squad in campaign for those that don’t want it. They could work like the arbiter in halo 3 when you play solo in that option.

Only if they play a bigger role than Co-op placeholders in campaign.

I do and I don’t. They weren’t implemented well into Halo 5. As cool as it would be, I’d prefer another solo Chief game.

Yes! Even if they died it would be great to see them again.

Yes but not all missions

Perhaps they are seperated at first then reunite later. So chief can have his solo missions :stuck_out_tongue:

I want most of the solo missions as it has those lonely moments and surprises. The blue team was good but then they should be there in one of the beginning mission.

> Yeah. It would be cool if Chief went looking for them after his return. Linda and Kelly would still be together, but Fred would become an angry drunk.

I don’t think that fred would do anything potentially harmful to himself like that
However it would be likely for one of blue team or osiris to get PTSD or something like that because of the obvious fact that they have seen some bad stuff

I think it’s the only logic really them and alpha 9 which everybody loves! Cough cough goodbye osirus.

I do hope we see them. I’ve seen som theories about ODST style missions if the Demo looks like what I think it does.

Brooo Blue team is chiefs family how can they keep doing them dirty like that ?? I didn’t like Osiris except buck. But the sad issue is it wasn’t the characters themselves that were bad it’s just the way 343 pulled it off… I wish they didn’t time skip 4-5 and now 5- to this… if they fleshed out the characters more and better it’d work. I think they over listened to the criticism… we can still have a chief story with other characters… heck even lasky was a lad.
One thing I will say is if Palmer dies I won’t shed a tear.
