Anyone know the origin of the emblem?
It’s super cool but I can’t find much history on it.
I’m fairly certain 343 created it for Halo 5. I don’t remember seeing it in any previous media.

Thank you for the information. At first I couldn’t make out what it was, but now I can see that. I looked up some information regarding eagles:
