I just finished playing a few rounds of Flood with my friends, but we noticed something we don’t understand.
Okay so, there were a few blue Spartans in our Flood game, and they appeared as enemies on both our radar and reticle, so we killed them. BOOM, betrayed, we’re kicked out of the match. I don’t understand this at all, has anyone else seen this? Or am I just playing stupid and this is something obvious?
I joined mid-game as “Flood” but had a spartan model and loadout. Looked at a spartan that showed up at an enemy for a few seconds. Shot him with my pistol and infected him. Finished off the last one as well. Easy to infect with a pistol.
Something about joining mid-game messes things up.

That makes the most sense, I can see how that would happen. Also since it’s the first Halo game to have join-able games, if that has anything to do with it.
