Blue promethean knights

a new trailer for halo 4 was released on shacknews.com and about halfway through it shows a blue knight lunge at the player

(sorry if the link doesnt work) Could it be an elite knight maybe?

Hmmmm we don’t know what the knight is attacking since the cam is free and not attached to the player.

I guess you could go that way. Either the blue is another faction of the Promethean which I doubt. Or color is like some kind of ranking/power.

It’ll either be a Knight “Major”, or possibly a second faction of Prometheans.

I think blue just signifies ranking.

i read something about someone saying since prometheans are ai the red ones could be some kind of rampant promethean so we could either be aided early in the campaign or later by prometheans (blue ones being friendly)

If you notice, there are plasma bolts being shot at the knight. And in the Spartan Ops mission I played Prometheans and Covenant were working together. So this faction might be the one that is helping us.

My guess is that they are allied Knights.

Very interesting…

I think the orange/red ones are rampant (bad guys), while the blue ones are regular (good guys).

What? If you’re talking about the mission with the lava that was playable at Comic Con, then I don’t think that’s correct. The Promethean enemies wipe out the remaining Covenant forces, they’re not working together.

I’ve heard blue signifies that they follow their original functions since silver and blue are Forerunner’s choice of color, and that the orange are rampant/corrupted Prometheans.

That theory makes sense since when Cortana yelled in the trailer, she flashed a bit orange.

I thought that I had read somewhere that the blue ones are called “Lancers,” and that they are the ones that will end up with a longer range version of the teleportation AA. I’ll look for a link…

EDIT: Nevermind. Lancer’s aren’t blue. Then maybe these things are controlled by Cortana?

I think having a knight on my side would be awesome so I hope they’re some sort of allied knights

The Lancer is the Knight seen in the E3 demo video, the one who teleports towards the Chief and then drops the Scattershot.

awwww

Don’t forget about the blue Crawlers and Watchers.

i didnt even see them they passed by so fast

If you ever watched Guilty Spark then you’d remember that: blue means friendly and orange/red means hostile.

not when you’re on red team!
