Instead of just fighting orange light promethean why not make higher tier classes have a different color light? Elites have different color armor for higher classes.
Now ofc weapon color would have to be change to match the class or better yet make it a neutral color (yellow like the sentinel beam?)
umm, the higher tier Promethean were different to the others (big shiny crystal looking things on their back), the color difference was to show the controlling influence as being originally the subverting by the librarian then went to orange (we presume their true original color) when the didact was released and regained control.
