Yeah, no kidding. I’ve sniped so many guys in the face who have the blue flames. They light up like a disco ball when they peek their head over a ridge or above a rock.

I take it this is your first Halo game OP? You sound just like people during H3 reign; demanding Recon just because they can’t have it.

Unfortunately, I don’t think they can or will. The Blue Flaming Helmet, was strictly for Bungie employes until they freely gave it to everyone before Bungie Day in 2011. After that, there was no way of getting them. If you didn’t get them when they were offered in 2011, you unfortunately missed your chance of getting them. Unless 343i somehow decides to do it, which I highly doubt it, there is no way to get them anymore.

The one thing that is easier is the big white fishbowl helmet. I had a whole team of them running around, and all I had to do was shoot the top of the big Q-Tip…
It was Bungie’s farewell gift to Halo. You should of gotten yours when you had the chance.

On the subject of nameplates, the only way to activate the Blue Flames was to in fact, activate the Bungie Nameplate, even if 343i wanted to give everyone Blue Flames, they would need to bring Nameplate support back, which they have no plans to do.
I was a fan of the blue flame AE for one match! Then it turned into a collection.
Bahaha. Doesn’t deserve to come back. Its a trophy now. A piece in history to prove you were there!
They were a gift from Bungie on their way out, so I don’t think the blue flames will be coming back nor should they

343 didnt pick up that feature, so you’re stuck with what you got.
its not even gone i was in a game today and someone had it…even if it doesnt look that cool its pretty rare so if u have it your lucky
Nope. The Blue flame and Banners were Bungies special sendoff to loyal fans one Bungie Day.
This was one of those “Got to be in it to win it” kind of things where all you had to do was show up. You missed it, kiss it g’bye.
The Blue Flame is still a changeable Armor Effect if you have it.
However, that, the banners as well as being able to change your banner (Halo, H2, H3, ODST, AR, etc) are no longer accessible.
got mine on bungie day…wore it…got shot in the head…removed it
