Blue Flames

I was unjustly banned for Marketplace theft recently, and I lost all of my progress in Halo Reach. I was a Brigadier Grade I, with blue flames and a Bungie Nameplate. I really miss my blue flames, and are the one thing that I wish I could have back on my new account. I have never cheated, have always followed the rules, code of conduct, and terms of service. I have been unjustly banned, and plead that I can have my blue flames back. If I could get them again via the app, it wouldn’t be an issue. And since I was banned unjustly, I feel that Microsoft has stolen something from me given to me by Bungie/343 for being a loyal member of the community, which they had no right to take away, based on ‘evidence,’ or lack their of.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message. I hope you can help me out.

The banned gamertag was MalvOfAlaska. The new gamertag is Malv0fAlaska (the O is a zero).

I think you’d have to prove that you were unjustly banned before anything else could be done.

See now if your ORIGINAL gamertag was back then I would say you were correct in being unjustly banned if you could play again. However your asking us and 343i to believe you were banned unjustly, especially with a new gamertag.

Even if you were unjustly banned I’m guessing the way your going about this will NOT get you blue flames etc.

Who would I ask then? I don’t have an email. And how am I supposed to prove that I was unjustly banned? It’s my word against Microsoft. All I know is that I have always paid for Marketplace content, and for Microsoft to just take away everything that I’ve work so hard, without any evidence, is just wrong.

I can tell what you were banned for, I beleive it wa the Games of Demand exploit or Arcade game exploit which allows you to play Games on Demand/Arcade Games for free.

It’s illegal, besides, if it wasn’t that, you know what it was, all users issued with a suspension for Marketplace Theft get off way to easily I think, it should be a console ban in my opinion, just saying.

Anyways, the blue flames are most likely not going to be given to you, it was Bungie’s way of saying goodbye to us, their not going to give them the finger and be like, lolno.

EDIT: May I also please point your attention to this; Suspended for Marketplace theft?

Agreed, regardless of whether you did or did not do something your account was still banned.

Microsoft takes these kinds of bans very seriously so you must have done something to earn it, either way your chances of getting the Blue Flames back are very slim to none.

Adding on to my previous post, I was in a similar situation, I wasn’t banned, I had to switch accounts and I pm’d a few employees at 343i about it, got a reply saying it was out of their hands and I had to contact Bungie, I managed to come into contact with Evil Otto from Bungie and he said that it’s up to 343i.

So by the looks of it, it’s a never ending loop, but I had a theory but it is a fact Bungie wouldn’t co-operate with it, from the PM Evil Otto sent me said that when the Bungie Nameplate is given to a player, Blue Flames is to, I asked if it would be possible for them to add the ‘Bungie’ Nameplate option to my Nameplates list on Bungie.net and never got a reply back, if giving users the Bungie Nameplate was possible like it was giving users the All-Star Nameplate before everyone got it, it could work, but then again, Bungie would need to co-operate and probably wouldn’t.

Although, I don’t see why 343i don’t have access to the tools to unlock 100% armoury for themselves or others, I was expecting just a no from 343i when I asked but I was referred back to Bungie, it’s like Bungie didn’t want to hand that over.

Once again, agreed. Bungie I feel over the last year or so have become a very shallow company. Their mods were always complete Yoink! to people and I would often find myself banned for the stupidest things.

That being one of the reasons I dislike Bungie now. They may have given me countless hours of enjoyment, but when they spit at you just because you’re being loyal that changes everything to me.

Agreed, although slightly going off-topic, did you know trolling is NOT against the B.net forum rules, same for linking to shock sites.

But you can be banned for bypassing the filter, it’s pretty sweet -_-

Of course you can’t. The Bnet mods are trolls themselves. Not to the extent of posting troll threads or “U mad bro?”. But I’ve seen them insult members a few times and get caught up in a flame war. Hell, they’re probably an influence to other members to troll. Oh, the irony.

OH THE IRONY!

I can tell Microsoft to check my download history, my credit card purchases, my Microsoft point purchases, and none of them relate to arcade games. This is unfair. How do I contact Evil Otto?

Just because they were banned doesn’t mean they deserve it. I’ve heard stories of Steam randomly banning people for ‘modding’ when they are completely innocent.

Your only option is to go through account suspension regarding the loss of the old account, if there are grounds for a review and you get the account back all items and licenses will be returned,

The blue flames as you know was a one time Bungie offer, I doubt they will be made available again.

Steams banning system is automatic, it doesn’t have a single human banning people, Xbox LIVE Enforcement is ONLY humans, which means their bans, are more than likely to be true bans.

How do I go about doing this? I really need some help with this stuff.

Microsoft ignores all of my messages. Tell me this: if Microsoft bans me, doesn’t send me an email why, refuses point-blank to talk to anyone about their marketplace theft bans, doesn’t even have a means of talking to them other than a stupid forum which is guarded with a force of moderators to rival the Secret Service, isn’t that a little fishy? Especially when you look at the thousands upon thousands of gamers who have been banned for Marketplace Theft just like I have, and none of them get to appeal their case. I sent them a message complete with full download history as evidence and offered them credit card records as proof that I was innocent, and yet I was ignored. And I know they have the power to see every game I have played on that account, so they can check that at their leisure. Doesn’t that sound just a LITTLE unfair?
