hello everyone, im wondering, Reach is going to be free from the 16 to the 30 of Sept. so my question is, anyone who manage to acquired the blue flames from bungie in 2011, and still playing Reach until this days, are they active? or just the orange flames that came with the legendary edition?
this is because i want to play reach again, and i remembered about the blue flames giveaway in 2011

As I have both flames, I can say they are both active even when the game is free. But i highly doubt blue flames will ever come back to the public again. But who knows what the future holds, I only know presently that their is no plans as “I KNOW” of.
Blue flames only look good on the haunted helmet.

Even then it doesn’t do anything to make the helmet look good because it just looks plain ridiculous to start with.

The blue flames look good on my girl. Thats my story and I’m sticking to it!

Some of us like the Haunted Helmet.
Looks better with legendary flames though.
The Blue Flames are linked to your account, if you download your profile to a new xbox or new hard drive for that matter, they still pop up.
When I turn off my Internet connection via the modem, my blue flames, red flames, and recon helmet(GameStop version) won’t appear on my account, including my nameplate. Now, I have in 2011, activated blue flames on the bungie app, and played in the event when bungie handed out the flames, is this suppose to happen? We lose our flames when we play offline?
I still use my Blue Flames and my Preorder helmet all the time
