I love Breakout and played a bunch over the weekend. However, 343/Forgers need to better balance the colors when creating their maps. Forgers, please don’t surround your map with blue force fields. It’s like the blue team gets a built in guile suit while the red team is waving flags saying “shoot me! shoot me”! That’s all I have. Thanks.
Im pretty sure thats the base color scheme for all breakout maps, I could be wrong though
You know you make a good point I never saw that as a problem but now that you mention it blue field with blue guys doesn’t make a tone of sense

This struck me last night as I was playing and I agree. Blue team has a distinct advantage in breakout when the Breakout template is used.

Blue is pretty widespread in most Halo maps. They normally do a fairly good job with shadows and where to use it. In breakout, combined with the dark, reflective and blue-ish floors I think the problem stands out a little more.
Is Highrise the map that is surrounded by the blue force fields? Awful. Overall though, I’ve really liked the community maps. Breakout maps seem like a great fit for forge.
