after watching the vidoc i learned that blue prometheans are only seen at night, so my assumption is that the prometheans change at night to better blend in the with the darkness, going from sunny orange fireburst colors to a cool lit up blue at night

Most likely just different ranks methinks. Kind of like how Jackal minors have blue shields and majors have red/orange.

That’s probably it. I’ve only ever seen blue ones at night and red ones during the day.
I still believe it might refer to a higher class. There was a still of a blue knight with a shimmering energy shield. So perhaps the blue ones have a higher defensive capability

thats what im saying i studied that video and all night scenes had blue, and all day scenes were red, its logical that a defense mechanism wouldnt stick out during the knight glowing orange so all enemies can spot it
