「Blow Me Away」 missing from Halo 2 Anniversary

The well-known song Blow Me Away by Breaking Benjamin is missing from the Anniversary mode of Halo 2, it still remains in Halo 2 Classic. There should be an options to replace the new track with the original track.

I can’t say for sure but I believe it was replaced due to licensing / copyright issues, possibly also due to some legal issues surrounding the band.

I confirm here, it was said that Breaking Benjamin did not want to renew licensing for H2A.

Which is funny since it’s still in Halo 2 Classic. 343 Should add an option letting you play Halo 2 Anniversary with all of Halo 2 Classic’s sounds ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

They were asking for some high number but 343 Industries refused to pay them. As far as I know they offered them the same deal as last time which is very low due to the increase in popularity the game has now.

What kind of idiots turn down free money and exposure? Unless you count a few signatures on legal documents as work, they literally would have had to do nothing. It’s a shame too, since I always felt this track is what helped make the final battle on Gravemind so iconic. Note to self: Always play Gravemind with classic audio.

It was licensed already for the original Halo 2, but new deals need to be made as this is technically a new game. It’s very silly and confusing, but there’s so much legal stuff surrouding things like this it would make your head spin
