Spartan charge is rubbish and needs to be nerfed I’m sooo tired of it, and even the regular melee has too much lunge please address this 343i other than that halo 5 is perfect love the game keep up the good work

It could be slightly tweaked in terms of magnetism when executed, and maybe have its damage reduced. Other than that, the mechanic is fine in itself.
Though, I’m not sure what’s wrong with the normal melee lunge? It’s fine as is, IMO.

Exactly and it’s way too easy to use and way to hard to dodge I can usually stop it if I see it coming with a few shots and a melee but if it comes from the sides or behind or from someone sprinting around a corner it’s almost impossible to evade

Sometimes it seems like ppl lunge from like ten feet away Idk maybe it’s just me I think the magnetism on the charge should be removed completely and the range reduced

It’s more like that when used with the Energy Sword, and the Gravity Hammer to some degree.
Though, if you were unaware of them approaching with either of those weapons, then you weren’t going to have much of a chance at any event. It takes some practice to figure it out, and you can always shoot them out of that.
Its balanced as it is for me
Pros
-insta kill from the back (as it should be)
-extra lunge and able to catch enemies by surprise
Cons
-if the opponent is fast enough, they can melee you when charging and finish you off
-vulnerable when charging
I like it since with the addition of thrusters and ground pound it adds more variety to multiplayer and that makes Halo Halo

The sword and hammer seem fine to me I’m talking like in a cqc fight with like smgs or ars sometimes it seem like ppl lunge from really far away Idk maybe it’s just lag or something

It’s way easier to get a kill with Spartan charge then it is to avoid to me that is not balanced at all
It turns on a literal dime, has massive magnetism, due to radar and sprint speed it is hard as hell to dodge, and you can have it ready to launch an enemy away and shoot them dead almost instantly.
