Hey guys, I am not a large fan of blood and gore in games and was wondering if it is possible to turn off blood. I know that there is not that much blood anyways but having none at all would be nice. Is there a setting to make this possible?

Along with a “turn your blood purple” option. Which they could justify by allowing playable Elites.
I barley even notice the little blood that is present in the game.

There is very little blood to begin with, much less than previous games… I could understand wanting a toggle but as it is, it’s practically a T rated game already. There is no blood toggle and I don’t think it needs one, if anything it needs an option to turn blood ON.
I suppose it all comes down to personal preference but still, they’re not going to cater to everyone and allow toggles for blood, fire, explosions, language or anything else for that matter. Halo is an as-is game.

Halo needs to be rated 18 should be lots of blood and gore i wanna see elite body parts flying all over the place and attach there heads to my utility belt as a trophy of my victory

There’s already a ton of people playing this game who really aren’t at a mature enough level to do so. I’d prefer it if younger audiances who have no maturity level did not play this for the time being…
No option that I know of, I barely notice it and don’t really care one way or the other.

I’d rather there be a touch more blood actually; it can be quite satifying. Walk down a corridor in which a handful of players have been using fully automatic weapons and you can see the splatter all up the walls and on the floor.
No No No. No Halo has never had this and they better not start now. If your not mature enough to handle it you should probably pick another genre or game. Certainly a new franchise. I agree with dude above there are too many children playing this game as it is!

The game is rated M for Mature. If some players don’t like seeing the little amount of blood that does show up in the game, they should probably play something different.
Wait is he talking about the drops of red paint that goes away in about 10 seconds?If you have played halo 1 on xbox you will agree…theirs next to non to speak of, because i could paint the ground all shades of purple,blue,orange,and…red in halo 1.As stated above this is a Mature rated game but a “gore” filter is really only used when there is “gore” to start with.Very few games in the FPS genre actually utilize it since the majority of FPS players are older gamers.Like some above have mentioned the gore should be increased dramatically, it isnt 2001 anymore.The time of confetti popping out is over i hope (the confetti skull gives me a bigger headache than the grunts, its like “The Bane” in borderlands 2).
I want to see these “organisms” that a hunter is made of in the game.you showed it in the FOD episode 5 but why not in the games?Perhaps halo 4 used up too much memory in the Xbox 360, and they did not add any of that because it would just decrease game performance which is understandable.However, there will be no excuse after the 720 comes out.I can understand appealing to a wider audience, though from what ive seen 10 year olds and under ruin online gaming.They do nothing but scream into the mic at a unbearable pitch that is akin to scratching a chalkboard with a fork or they just dont play the game and spin in circles and jump around.If that is what you want Halo to be, part of me would just cry.
These are of course my personal thoughts, and you have yours, but hopefully we will get what we both want in Halo 5.
Idea: Anyone remember the paintball option in Perfect Dark? It would fit in Halo.
