I play btb very often and there are a number of specific players that block peoples gamertags so that they can avoid matching a team they scared they can’t beat.
I know this is in the game because before they blocked me I would match them very consistantly, this feature needs to be removed.
While MCC isn’t the most popular game on the market, BTB is just 1 part of the game and because so players are blocking others, the lobbies are either 1 of those teams waiting to match a list of players that don’t block people, OR both teams/every player waiting increased times for the system to make a decision.
Also when in a party of higher than 5 or more it is impossible to match a party of 8, the strict matchmaking system and hidden MMR or trueskill rank needs to be removed, the game is old and it is completely outdated.
While I’m here I would like to mention that ranked has the exact same issue with the blocking system. On top of that it is virtually impossible to get to rank 50 in this day and age. I would like to suggest making MCC ranked back to how it was in H2/H3 and just copy and paste it. Maybe even a reset to give players an incentive to want to compete, maybe even a reward?
nope. blocking is the only way to play solo in social ts and actually match other solo players, and not have to match that team of four too scared to play ranked.
Unless this has been changed behind the scenes, no blocking doesn’t prevent matching with other players. Back in 2015 it did which lead to 343 disabling blocking’s effect on matchmaking because good players were no longer able to find matches.
It has been changed I know 100% that blocking players will make you avoid a player.
Its been changed behind the scenes for social and I hope it never goes away. I refuse to play with full stacks and betrayers.
So punishing people for being good at a game is a thing?
I guess I get the team thing but blocking people to feel better about not being as good shouldn’t be a thing. You’re just ruining the game for anyone better than you and make them smurf just to be able to find games.
Still waiting fr this to be removed, btb players are blocking me to avoid playing, meaning I have to search for longer and the people I play with are punished because players are blocking me. Remove this dumb mechanic please
It is forcing all good players to make alt accounts to play, which then disrupts fresh players also, it is unhealthy for the game and needs to be gone right now
