how do you block players that you don’t want to match in game back on the xbox 360 you can block players on the old halo 3 i block players on xbox one but i still match them on my team

You can block players, but it no longer prevents you from matching with them. Players abused the function in ranked to avoid better teams, which prompted 343 to axe it.
I wish you could still do it it helped me a lot back on old halo3

According to recent information, apparently blocking players also stops you from matching with them in MCC.

Oof. I hope this isn’t true. My FFA queue times are already 20-30 minutes, would explain why my match times are so long?
Wait, did this change happen “behind the scenes” around the same time the quit ban was changed?

Damn, I wish I’d known about it sooner. I only found out about it when you posted in that thread I linked. Could have saved myself some stress.
Are you able to provide any information if the quit ban bug is still lingering? I’ve been too scared to quit when the situation arises out of fear of copping a ban.

i just quit after two teammates left the game and still got a ban. talk about bs!

Blocking players to avoid them (in social) still works and needs to be removed, there is a hidden mmr system that decides who matches who and if you are ranked high in that system finding a game takes a very long time.
When you have a high mmr you quite often match the same players, it also gives the good players all of the lowest ranked team mates. It should be removed as MCC is mostly full of the same pool of players daily and nobody should have to wait longer because someone is blocked or they are scared to match a player.
good that’s what we want we don’t want match them because they ruin the game for others
you know what bothers me when they have no team killing in social when it should be in ranked who cares about social ranked is where you get better
