Block tank shots in core. Warzone assault

Tanks can shoot inside the inner core room.
Yea those shots can’t hurt the core, but they kill everyone inside.
Yeah power weapons but the tank can shoot anyone who can shoot them. Tank kills in one hit, does it die in one from your power weapon?no.

A simple barrior at the top half of the inner doors would block the deep tank shots.

Req in some cloak, sneak out, and one shot the tank with a grenade.

Or request a care bear shield, I guess.

Vehicles have no place? Say what now? Vehicles, a fundamental part of the halo experiance and half of the req collection for warzone, shouldn’t be there?

I singlehandedly turned the tide of battle on Urban with a wraith yesterday. Attackers needed to occupy the armory for a single second to move to our core. 90 seconds left, and my teammates holed up in the armory, I spawned in a wraith and suppressed the attackers long enough for my teammates to counter attack out of the armory. Ended by being boarded and killed, but the match was over with a win for us 8 seconds later.

Vehicles have a place. For sure.

Plasma. Pistols onky cost 3 REQs and the splinter grenade commendation helps freeze tanks in place. Just some anti tank advice. I don’t play enough WA to feel your pain.

Gonna say if you can’t prevent/beat a tank choke-hold, you’ve only got you and your team to blame. If anything, I’d say tanks need a buff across both Warzone modes. They’re too easy to kill off.

Like I said, discussion for another day. When 12 players can spawn vehicles, especially Tanks, ONI Hogs or Ghosts, it is a little ridiculous.

I play Warzone Assault far more than any other mode and I agree this can be a massive problem, especially when there’s two of the -Yoinks!-, one at each side.

If you let a scorpion repeatedly kill you and your teammates at the core, that’s your own fault. Invis, splinter grenades, plasma pistols and advanced sensors are your friends.

When the tank driver is good they can deffend themselves.
And if there’s 2?
One shoots the almost hijacked one and prevents it.
Meanwhile one shoots into the core and the other takes bridge and flanks.

Probably cause your teamates could “snipe” anyone trying to kill or hijack from the other side of urban. Blue wins on urban about 80%.

A total lack of cross map coverage, and ability to counter snipe. Or deffend from bridges, flanks or outside.

Taking out tanks isn’t difficult. Rockets, Splaser, PP, pulse grenades, another tank to name a few. You don’t actually have to defend from the core room itself, particularly not from the doors.
