RTS Noob Here. Blitz Noob too.
I cannot seem to figure out why, in any match, i cannot place new cards.
I have energy. But keep getting RED symbols that i don’t understand preventing me from placing anything. Red Fighter Jets, Red Lightning Bolts. My first squads get killed off and i cannot play any new cards.
Help!
Also - What is the “Cycle” option for? I assumed it was to cycle cards, but clicking the button does nothing.
I do feel like the ui is pretty awkward.
I’m still not quite sure where my energy is actually displayed. I just see some cards turn white then pick them.
The delay after playing a card before the other cards go red is irritating too.
I feel like putting the score counter below the cards instead of on the top of the screen would be better too.

If you haven’t captured a location on the map with your starting units and they get killed off, you can only spawn units at your home base, unless you’re playing in a team, then you can spawn your units where your allies are located.
As for cycle option, if I’m not mistaken it’s to change the cards that you have at that point in time. For example, you want to bring in a scorpion but you don’t have the card in your “hand” so you use the cycle option until you get the scorpion card. However each time you use the cycle feature it uses energy. Personally I haven’t used this feature yet.
Play the tutorial. It is helpful.

Indeed. It seems like the red is due to trying to place the power or units in an area they can’t. You can only spawn units by your other units or ally units. If not the home base.
The cycle option is a 5 energy feature to swap one card for another in the event you have a 300 at the start of the game but would prefer another 10 or 20. Or vice versa later in to the match.
If you haven’t, play the tutorial, you get a free booster pack from doing it and try the 3 vs 3 mode. That is basically one person per zone unless you can overwhelm the enemy.

Your energy value is the pink value by your hand.

I did try the tutorial. It wasn’t very informative. It said nothing about units only being able to spawn by other units. If it did, i missed it.
I will try the 3v3.

I did. Twice. It wasn’t very helpful as i still have MANY questions that were not addressed.
