So, I went 10-0 in my placement matches in 2v2 Blitz. Placed into Diamond 2!?!?! Currently 14-0, and that got me to Diamond 3. My real complaint is that there are many players that went 6-4 or 5-5 and got placed into Onyx 1700, so how does 10-0 land someone in Diamond 2?!?! I’ve also noticed that it’s far harder to grind up ranks in Blitz than it is in Deathmatch. I get far more points from winning matches in Deathmatch than I do in Blitz. What’s the point of this? I’ve made it into the top 10 in 1v1, so I know I can get up there in 2v2, but I’m gonna have to grind forever to get there. Anyone else experience something similar?
I had the same thoughts when I won 10/10 on 1v1 placement and I got diamond 4, the responses I got were that ranking is based on previous seasons rankings also

I’m okay with a soft reset. I didn’t play any 2v2 Blitz in Season 2, so maybe that’s why. Probably explains why I placed Onyx 1700 in 1v1 Blitz and 1v1 Deathmatch as well. It would just be nice to have this information documented somewhere.
